Digging - Why Dogs Do it and Suggestions to Curtail It

Dogs survived for thousands of years by inappropriate behavior in our pets. Dig is one of survival tools. They dug to find food, they dig for food to hide and they dug to get comfortable.

Dogs dig now for a variety of reasons. The most common are: instinct, boredom, treasure hunts, hidden food to be easily and reproduction.

Instinct and treasure hunt
